So I got my first apt with fetal doppler (no ultrasound) at 7 weeks and the midwife couldn’t find it. She said it’s completely normal and looking it up I see doctors don’t try it until 10-12 weeks but it’s making me very anxious like the baby won’t be there by next apt next week for my 11 week apt. Hopefully they’ll do ultrasound then. Anyone else have similar experience and how to get over anxiety.

they tried to use doppler on me at 10 weeks and she couldn't find anything. she insisted I follow up with a US. I did and the tech rolled her eyes at me and said "I don't know why they even try in the office before 12 weeks. it causes so much stress" turns out I was fine and the doc was just overly excited.
